The Baylor Scott & White Wound Care Center-Rowlett, a department of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lake Pointe, has received the Center of Distinction award and the Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Center of Excellence award from Healogics, a provider of advanced wound care services.

The Center had to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent, and a minimum wound healing rate of at least 91 percent within 30 median days to heal.

For the Dr. Robert A. Warriner III award, they must receive a Center of Distinction award, recognizing one year of top clinical performance, for two or more consecutive years. “We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality health care to those in need,” says Brett Lee, chief executive officer of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lake Pointe.
