Repurposed Art Show for Charity

Nonprofit Women in the Environment (WE) will host the inaugural Art with RePurpose Eco-Art Show fundraiser from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., September 12, at the Visit Addison Gallery & Artisan Center, in Dallas. This show will include work by 14 local artists and a silent auction. The food and wine served will emphasize on sustainability and local, organic sources.

WE focuses on empowering women in the environmental field through education, encouragement, outreaching and networking, supporting outreach efforts and providing an outlet for local artists to feature their upcycled and recycled works.

Ten percent of the net proceeds will be donated to Girls Incorporated of Tarrant County, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to inspiring all girls to be "strong, smart, and bold" through life-changing programs and experiences that help girls navigate gender, economic, and social barriers.
