Work/Life Balance Power Connections Luncheon

The nonprofit Work Life Balance Institute America will hold its first Power Connections Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., September 20, at the Tower at City Place, in Dallas. The bimonthly luncheons are designed for women business professionals, entrepreneurs and “Mom-trepreneurs” to take a break from their busy day and enjoy a fun, distinctive, stimulating and powerful process where they will learn and develop leadership skills, personal development, business-building skills, inspiration, business partnerships, motivation and how to achieve work and life balance.

The guest speaker is Dr. Jennifer Trejo, founder of Abundant Life Wellness Center, in Ft. Worth. Trejo left a career in international human resources to earn a doctorate in naturopathy. Knowing that there are often better and safer alternatives to pharmaceutical or over-the-counter drugs and surgery, Trejo is passionate about educating her patients to live healthier and more holistic lifestyles.

Bernice Butler, a member of the Institute, says, “We define work-life balance as effectively juggling and balancing work responsibilities, business demands and personal life. She says the goal of the Institute is to “provide education, skill development, empowerment and encouragement for business owners and professionals in order to help them more effectively balance work responsibilities, business demands and their personal lives,” through workshops, seminars and networking opportunities nationwide.

Cost is $49. Door prizes and raffle gifts valued at $1,200 will be awarded. Location: 2711 N. Haskell Ave. For more information, call 877-789-0447. Register at WorkLifeBalanceInstitute.com.
