Company Café New on the Katy Trail

A new restaurant, focused on local, natural fare, has arrived along the Katy Trail. The second outpost of Company Café, a locavore hotspot on Greenville Avenue, has opened at 3136 Routh. Company Café on the Trail features indoor dining, plus a large patio with a lovely view of Katy Trail.

Just like the original, Company Café on the Trail is passionate about providing great-tasting comfort food with a healthy, organic twist. Both menus feature grass-fed beef, bison and gluten-free indulgences such as waffles and the seasonal pumpkin spice cake. The new location’s menu focuses more on fresh seafood options and Greenville Avenue fan favorites, like gluten-free chicken fried steak. A full bar serves the usual suspects, as well as tempting, house-infused vodkas.

The interior takes the farm-to-table trend to the next level, with supplier Homestead Heritage lending a hand. Homestead Heritage artisans handcrafted the tabletops and an accent wall out of wood reclaimed from old barns and provided the patio picnic tables, and the farm supplies grass-fed beef. Customers can walk or ride right off the Katy Trail to grab a healthy meal and a drink. Parking is also available.
