The Dallas Sierra Club will hold their annual holiday on December 13 at El Fenix, in Casa Linda Plaza. Members and guests can look forward to a free margarita on the Club, door prizes, a silent auction and Dutch treat dinner from the menu.

Throughout the year, the club offers a mix of backpacking, day hiking, tent camping, cabin camping and lodge camping. From February 26 to March 2, the destination is Big Bend National Park, and transportation is by sleeper bus. There are multiple trip options for backpacking and a lighter load option to sleep each night at the Chisos Basin Campground, then and make significant day hikes.

The club will continue clean-ups at White Rock Lake on the second Saturday morning of the month and trail maintenance mornings at Cedar Ridge Preserve on the third Saturday.
