Grow Organic, Non-GMO Plants From Seeds

Marshall Grain Co., DFW's leading organic garden center and pet supply store and one of the largest independent, locally owned garden centers in Texas, will offer a class, 10 Easy Plants to Start from Seed, at 11 a.m., February 2. Guest speaker Marilyn Buehler will talk about the seed germination process, the best plants for beginners to grow, soil and materials needed, and how to nurture them to the transplant stage.

Starting plants from seed offers many benefits. Besides being fun and educational, it can save gardeners money and encourage healthier eating habits. And at Marshall Grain, consumers can learn how to ensure that their edibles are organically grown using only non-GMO seeds.

Marshall Grain was one of the first garden supply companies in North Texas to begin carrying organics, and they continue to offer unmatched experience with them. In line with the company’s history in feed products, Marshall Grain also offers quality food and supplies for dogs, cats, backyard chickens and wild birds.

Admission is free. Location: 3525 Wm. D. Tate Ave., Grapevine. For more information, call 817-416-6600 or visit MarshallGrain.com.
