The 46th annual Capital One Bank YMCA Turkey Trot Run, the largest Thanksgiving Day event of its kind in the country, will be held the morning of November 28, starting at Dallas City Hall Place. Nearly 40,000 participants are expected to gather for the Turkey Trot eight-mile race and 5K fun run. The popular event benefits programs that help the YMCA to strengthen the foundations of the community.

Participants can choose to be chip-timed in both events with a $5 timing charge. Also with registration, participants will receive a complimentary 25-visit membership to begin Training for the Trot at a Dallas area YMCA. Registration is ongoing through November 27.
