Learn The Risk, a domestic nonprofit with a global reach founded by former Merck Pharmaceutical executive Brandy Vaughn will hold their annual\, Rethink Health Summit from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., July 28, at the Intercontinental Hotel Dallas. Topics include autoimmune issues, diabetes and kidney issues, heart disease and cholesterol issues, depression and anxiety, women’s health issues, general inflammation, prescription drug dangers and detoxification and health maintenance.

This live event that will educate and empower participants to take back their health, speakers include Brandy Vaughn, James Salvo, DC, Cathy Lemmon, LCPH, Michelle Rowton,CNP,. Robyn Abramczyk, DDS, John Gonino, DO, Ronit Mor, ND, David Erb, DC and. Jim Meehan, M.D.

Vaughn felt she had no choice but to take action when she sold a painkilling drug, Vioxx , that doubled the risk of stroke and heart attacks, literally killing thousands of people,. She realized that just because something is on the market doesn’t mean it’s safe. The drug was eventually taken off the market.
