Healthy Living Fair at Chestnut Square Showcases Wellness and Community

Discover Wellness and Community at the Healthy Living Fair at Chestnut Square

On Saturday, October 4, from 2 to 6:30 p.m., the Healthy Living Fair at Chestnut Square invites you to an afternoon of wellness, learning, and fun in the heart of historic downtown McKinney. The event takes place at 315 S. Chestnut Street, where the charming grounds of Heritage Village will be filled with opportunities to explore healthier living.

Visitors can meet local practitioners and health experts, enjoy free screenings and demos, and explore an inspiring mix of health and wellness Practitioners, fitness and PT professionals and artisan finds. Guests are also invited to tour the historic houses throughout the village for a one-of-a-kind experience blending community, culture, and wellness.

Chestnut Square is home to one of the largest farmers markets in North Texas, welcoming nearly 100 vendors each Saturday morning. Building on that tradition, the Healthy Living Fair transforms the historic grounds into McKinney’s signature wellness event, beginning in the afternoon following the Farmers Market.

Visitors can take part in a sound healing session in the garden and demonstration of cutting-edge PT equipment, as well as “ Chats with the Doctors” and demonstrations on wraparound porches. There will also be integrative health seminars in the 1908 Chapel and the Bevel House. The Texas A&M AgriLife Mobile Nutrition Research Unit will be on site, along with a wide range of practitioners offering hands-on demos and resources.

With Medical City McKinney Hospital as a proud sponsor, the Healthy Living Fair brings together community partners committed to advancing health and well-being. Guests will discover new pathways to healthier living while enjoying the shaded, tree-lined charm of Chestnut Square.
