There is nothing like Texas High School Football. It defines Fridays in the Lone Star State. This year, Mansfield ISD will kick off its 2019 Friday Night Lights with an exciting football Border Brawl, an unbeatable football marathon. Five games in three days at Mansfield's two spectacular stadiums between Mansfield's five teams and five of the best from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.

Lake Ridge, Legacy, Mansfield, Summit, and Timberview are all diligently preparing to face five Oklahoma power house football teams over three nights. Last year's games took place in Tulsa but this year the action has shifted to Texas at Mansfield ISD's own Vernon Newsom and R. L. Anderson stadiums.
