Electric Vehicles North Texas (EVNT) is a working group formed by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCRCOG) to develop and coordinate a partnership with utility companies, regional governments, school districts, transit authorities and local businesses in an effort to develop a plan that prepares the region for the transition to plug-in electric vehicles.

This plan will be used to guide progress and overcome initial barriers in order to implement necessary infrastructure and incentives to ensure vehicle support throughout the region. This should help to ensure an above average assimilation time for electric vehicles in the North Texas culture.
