Brenda and Nick Timineri, new owners of Kwik Kar by the Lake, have quickly taken the longtime neighborhood full-service automotive service shop to new heights by being voted best of Dallas in D magazine’s Readers’ Choice survey.

The couple, whobought Kwik Kar by the Lake nine months ago, are long-time business owners and have excelled by always putting customer service first. In keeping with that tradition, they have creating a warm and inviting customer waiting area, complete with coffee, donuts and a childrens’ playroom. They providing customer-focused service, based upon getting to know their customers, identifying their automotive service needs and taking care of those needs as if it were their own vehicle.

With its sparkling clean shop area, Kwik Kar has been the site of two national automotive training videos and was recently selected as the Lube, Car and AutomotiveAssociation member of the year. They have also moved from a 99 to a 100 percent AAA customer satisfaction rating for mechanical repairs.

The Timineris say one of their challenges is getting people to know that they do so much more than oil, lube and state inspection work. They are a full mechanical service automotive shop, and the professional staff includes an experiencedmaster mechanic and trained automotive technicians, each of whom takes a personal interest in the customer and their needs.
