Taking Care of Mother Earth Expo in Grapevine

The historic Palace Theatre, in Grapevine, Texas, will be the venue for the second annual Taking Care of Mother Earth Expo, held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., April 20. Scheduled events include a litter-free Lunch & Learn, an Expo tour and educational demos, wrapping up with an Arbor Day tree dedication.
Exhibitors will provide information and engaging demonstrations of the green initiatives available in the community. At the Litter Free Lunch & Learn, Dean Minchillo, conservation program manager for the Tarrant Regional Water District, will discuss tips and methods for conserving water at home.
Sponsors include Allied Waste Services, Chick-fil-A and Natural Awakenings Dallas Metroplex Edition. Additional partners are Nash Farm, Keep Grapevine Beautiful, Grapevine Environmental Services and Grapevine Botanical Gardens.
