Five Tips for Eating Away from Home: From The Natural Chef

Always choose a fish or poultry item that is lightly grilled.

1. If you need a potato, ask for a sweet potato instead of a regular potato.

2. Have a salad & grilled vegetables accompany your meal or select a plate full of vegetables instead of a regular meal.

3. If you like soda, have a seltzer water instead, ask for fresh lemon & lime to squeeze in it and add some sweetener. Tastes just like Sprite.

4. Look for items on the menu that have a “healthy” signature beside them – they are typically freshly prepared and low in calories.
