Kids Learn About Texting Safety with Art Contest

Sophie Anthony, a ninth-grader at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, has won the grand prize in the Dallas Area Rapid Transit statewide poster contest. More than 120 students from 12 schools in grades six though 12 entered. The theme for the contest was, Don't Text and Drive! Commute Smart, Ride DART. Anthony's artwork will be shown on the side of DART buses through the summer.
