Upcoming Sierra Club Events

The Dallas Sierra Club maintains a robust outings program to support the chapter’s conservation and education goals with more than 120 outings per year. On any weekend there might be day hikes in and around the Dallas area, car camping trips to state parks and wild areas, backpacking trips, canoeing trips, bicycling, cross-country skiing, birdwatching or conservation walks, as well as forays into the remaining natural areas of the city, inner city outings, service outings, family outings and singles outings.

Several times a year, members and non-members charter a bus and go hiking in Colorado, New Mexico or Big Bend National Park. No fees are charged except for incidental expenses such as park entry fees. Outings leaders are Sierra Club volunteers. For a great way to find out about local conservation issues and enjoy the great outdoors, here is a sampling of upcoming Dallas Sierra Club Outings.
