The Dallas Sierra Club is making taking reservations for fun that includes fresh snow on the mountains, scenic beauty, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and touring historic sites in northern New Mexico. The annual Taos bus trip is unique because it accommodates people with a wide range of interests and physical abilities. Departure for Taos is 6 p.m., February 27, via charter bus, and will depart Taos at 2 p.m., March 2, for the return trip. Sierra Club membership is not required.

Taos is a historical and picturesque town in northern New Mexico, located at an elevation of 6,952 feet on the high desert mesa at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. While relatively small (population 4,920), Taos is rich with art and steeped in history. The Taos Ski Valley is a renowned and respected ski area, located about 35 minutes from and historic El Pueblo Lodge, the trip’s base Hotel.
