REI is the first retailer to lease space at Half Price Books’ new shopping center development, located at 5929 East Northwest Highway, in Dallas. Half Price Books, the nation's largest family-owned new and used bookstore chain, is moving its Dallas store to the new 34,000-square-foot space in spring 2015. REI will also open a new, 22,050-square-foot location in Southlake at Park Village this fall and hire approximately 50 employees. Job applicants can sign up online.

REI sells the top brands of outdoor gear and apparel for camping, climbing, cycling, fitness, hiking, paddling and travel. The new store will also feature a bike shop offering expert assembly and repair services, and expand the company's classes and programming through REI Outdoor School later this year.
