Join us in August as Dr. Nada Milosavljevic, a board-certified, Harvard-trained physician and Harvard Medical School faculty member, and the founder and director of the integrative health program at Massachusetts-General Hospital, addresses the many health benefits of the Camellia sinensis plant, and how different processing methods impart a variety of health benefits. Prior to her medical career, Dr. Milosavljevic, also a graduate of Notre Dame Law School, practiced law in the bio-tech industry, patenting pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Further to her expertise in herbal and plant-based treatments, she is a certifiedtea specialist (CTS), serves on the Advisory Board of the SpecialtyTea Institute, and is a contributing health/wellness writer for TeaMagazine. Tea tasting will be offered at the end of the program.
