Green Source DFW Inaugural Run for the Environment

Green Source DFW, a popular online green news source in North Texas, is hosting its first-ever fundraising 5K run/walk, dubbed Run for the Environment, on October 11, at Cedar Hill State Park. Registration is open through August 31.

The timed and measured course runs through the scenic 1,800-acre hilly wooded preserve overlooking Joe Pool Lake, about 10 miles southwest of Dallas and 25 miles southeast of Fort Worth. Event proceeds will support Green Source DFW, a project of the nonprofit Memnosyne Institute, and its mission to advance the environmental movement in North Texas. Green Source DFW seeking sponsors, vendors and volunteers.
