DART Five-Mile Extension Completed
Completion of the DART five-mile extension of the orange line from the Beltline station has made DFW Airport the nation’s third busiest airport with a rail connection to the city center. The train connects with the airport at Terminal A, just steps from the terminal link, DFW Airport’s bus shuttle services, as well as Skylink, the intra-airport monorail. People can now disembark a plane at DFW and be in downtown Dallas in about 50 minutes on a one-seat, seamless ride.
People that board the train at DFW Airport Station will be able to reach other key North Texas destinations accessible from DART Rail, including the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas Arts District, NorthPark Center, Fair Park, American Airlines Center, Irving Convention Center and corporate campuses in Richardson.
