Turkey Trot Diverts Course for Construction

Nov 02, 2014 01:03AM

The 47th annual YMCA Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, beginning at Dallas City Hall at 9 a.m. New courses have been added this year for the 5K and eight-mile races. For the first time ever, race registrants can pick up their packets at select Capital One bank branch locations from November 15 to 18.

The Trot is a tradition that draws people from all over the country each year, with fun activities for the whole family such as clowns, pony rides, bounce houses, live musical entertainment and more. Participants get a leg up on their training and gain access to the Dallas area Y facilities and skilled training staff thanks to a complimentary 25-visit membership at any of the 22 Dallas Y 22 locations.
