Awesome Talks at The Grove

The Grove, in downtown Dallas, a new kind of social space, designed to maximize productivity, grow your brand and promote collaboration, networking and knowledge sharing, is hosting Five Awesome Talks About Stuff You Should Care About! from 4 to 6:30 p.m., April 18, as part of Sustainability Month.

Grove community members will gather for an afternoon of stories and ideas on how we can sustain the lives of future generations make our city and the planet a better place. Highlights include Green Building and Healthy Workplaces, with Amy King, chief eternal optimist of Nested Strategies, a creative branding studio focused on building purposeful brands grounded in the triple bottom line. She spearheaded the incubation of 80 U.S. Green Building Council chapters.

Aaron de Leon, founder of The Urban Farmist, will speak about urban agriculture, while Gary Gene Olp, an environmental architect and founder of GGO Architects, Rita Beving, Dallas Sierra Club conservation co-chair, and Tony Robinson, president of FLUX Environmental, are also on the program.
