Participants may camp, chill, hike or backpack at Colorado Bend State Park from April 17 through Sunday 19 with a choice of car camping or car camp/backpack combination. Colorado Bend is one of our most scenic and unique state parks. The Dallas Sierra Club has booked the Riverside group campsite for backpackers (including beginners), and more campsites in the Windmill backpack camping area for Saturday night.

It’s possible to camp Friday at the riverside group camp and then pack gear a couple of miles on Saturday to the Windmill camp. This trip is good for families, couples and individuals, as they can take the back roads to Bend to see the spring wildflowers.
