Blanco Lavender Festival in Blanco

The 11th annual Blanco Lavender Festival, to be held June 12 through 14, will welcome visitors from all over the country to Blanco, Texas. The grounds of the Old Blanco County Courthouse will serve as the focal point for the Lavender Market, with more than 100 artists and craftsmen with fine art, jewelry, home décor and myriad lavender products for home and body.

Thespeaker’s pavilion will host talks on beekeeping, butterflies, working with and growing lavender and more. The Texas-Made tent, sponsored by Texas Department of Agriculture Go Texan program, will feature specialty packaged foods, local beer and regional wines produced here. Live music will be performed in Bindseil Park.

Hill Country Lavender Farm and Imagine Lavender Farm will be open throughout the weekend for visitors to see firsthand the beauty of lavender in full bloom. The farms will present their own speakers and activities and the owners will be on hand to share their experiences with growing lavender.
