A new radio special series, Shootin’ The Breeze, has made its debut at 9:00 a.m. Saturdays on Talk Radio AM 1190 at 9:30 am on Saturdays. The program’s special guest on August 8 will be none other than Natural Awakenings Dallas-Fort Worth Magazine Publisher Bernice Butler.

This 10-part series focuses on bringing green power to the people and keeping the planet green. Each week, host Kristi Comuzzi and the show's resident expert on green energy, John Spicer, will sit down with a guest to discuss renewable energy and all things green, in order to enlighten Texans about green products and services so that they're empowered to make healthy and sustainable choices for themselves and for the planet. Program guests include experts in the field of energy, health, preservation and conservation.

Comuzzi is the owner of The REELPeople Company and a veteran of the consumer marketing business after spending years on Madison Avenue at Young & Rubicam managing and creating advertising for Kraft, AT&T, PBS, Advil, Warner Lambert and others. Spice is the co-founder and CEO of Breeze Energy, the state’s only electric utility that uses wind energy exclusively.
