The 36th annual Scarborough Renaissance Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., April 9 through May 30, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Nonstop Renaissance entertainment on 23 stages includes full combat jousting, birds of prey exhibitions conducted by Last Chance Forever, the Mermaid Lagoon, sword fighting, whip masters, comedy, music, dancing and more. There are also 200 shoppes featuring unique handmade treasures and food fit for a king with five food areas, including a bakery, pasta shop, full-service restaurant and of slow-roasted turkey legs. Plus, there are 10 pubs and taverns to quench any thirst.
