Farmhouse Delivery has acquired Austin-based Greenling and Dallas-based Urban Acres, and the combined companies will now be able to serve customers in Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio and Houston better. Farmhouse Delivery is a weekly subscription service that delivers a bushel of local vegetables and fruits to customers.

Started in 2009, Farmhouse Delivery has grown to serve more than 5,000 customers and includes a lineup of more than 300 Texas-sourced products. In addition, Farmhouse will also be offering Supper Club, a weekly delivery of locally sourced ingredients and a recipe that customers can use to cook a farm to table meal in their own home. Amanda Cowan, vice president of marketing, says, “To our knowledge it’s the first and only 100 percent locally sourced meal kit delivery service in the country.”
