Natural Awakenings Dallas -Fort Worth Metroplex Edition

America Recycles Day is November 15

America Recycles Day, a Keep America Beautiful national initiative, is dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the U.S. In the weeks leading into November 15, thousands of communities recycle more and get educated about the importance of recycling to our economy and environmental well-being. Dallas provides more than 140 convenient drop-off locations for recyclables, and most are open 24/7.

All recyclable material can be commingled when placed in the container. Accepted materials include plastics 1-5 and 7; aluminum, steel and tin cans; milk and juice cartons; mixed paper (magazines, newspaper, office paper and phone books); corrugated cardboard and boxboard (flattened boxes and food boxes); glass jars and bottles.
