Enjoy Some Holiday Dazzle at Prairie Lights

Visitors can enjoy Prairie Lights, the premiere holiday light park in Texas, located at Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake, in Grand Prairie, throughout the entire holiday season. They will be dazzled by 4 million lights set along two miles of winding paths. Hundreds of new displays in shapes of all kinds line and arch over the roads. Prairie Lights is open from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday on non-holidays and 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and holidays up to January 1, 2017.

Typically, it takes 45 minutes to drive straight through with light traffic. With a stop in Holiday Village, plan on 1.5 hours total. Halfway through the drive, Holiday Village offers holiday food, gifts, carnival rides, Santa, an all-new laser show and the Holiday Magic Lighted Walk-Through Forest. Guests can get out of the car and take a stroll through the trees that will be lit up with tens of thousands of lights arranged in scenes depicting how the holiday season is celebrated around the world, along with a brand-new Gumdrop Alley that’s sure to be a hit with kids.
