Central Market will be opening its newest location  in Dallas’ Preston Hollow, at Midway Road and Northwest Highway at 8 a.m., September 5. It’s the company’s 10th location in Texas and third in Dallas, in addition to Fort Worth, Plano, Southlake, Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

The existing 42,000 square-foot store, previously an Albertsons, has been completely remodeled and will primarily serve the established neighborhoods of northwest Dallas. The new store has created 250 new jobs for the area.

Stephen Butt, president of H-E-B/Central Market Division, says, “We’ve heard from loyal northwest Dallas customers for years who have asked for a Central Market location in closer proximity to their neighborhoods.” The store will serve customers in Bluffview, Devonshire, Preston Hollow, Midway Hollow, Greenway Parks and surrounding neighborhoods.

Central Market features a bountiful produce department, an 80-foot seafood case with selections from throughout the world, hundreds of cheeses, 2,500 wine labels, specialty grocery aisles with delights from every continent, and a world-class cooking school, featuring hands-on instruction.
