The 2020 Green Source DFW Sustainable Leadership Awards are presented by Green Source DFW and its parent nonprofit, the Memnosyne Institute. The nomination period runs thru September 15. A panel of judges from the North Texas green community will select the winners from among all the nominees. Winners and other specialty awards will be announced at the Green Source DFW Awards on November 12.

The awards recognize people and groups in North Texas for their exceptional leadership in the enhancement and protection of the environment in four categories—Environmental Science and Innovation (new products, business models or ideas benefiting the environment); Conservation Activist (preserving resources, wildlife, green space); Green Project or Program (profit or nonprofit); and Coke Buchanan Volunteer of the Year (outstanding volunteer service to a green cause or organization)

Green Source DFW is an award-winning digital publication covering environmental news in North Texas. Launched in 2011, the educational site was created to educate the community about environmental topics, including green living, sustainability, conservation, environmental advocacy and public policy discussions.
