Kaleidoscope Park will celebrate North Texas’ Hispanic communities with its annual Hispanic Heritage Festival from 3 to 9 p.m., September 5, in Frisco. The free, family-friendly event will showcase Hispanic traditions, music, food and art while creating opportunities for cultural connection.

Festivities throughout the 5.7-acre public park will include a colorful Parade of Nations, interactive cultural games, hands-on activities and a market featuring local Hispanic-owned vendors. Regional food vendors will offer flavors representing the diversity of Hispanic cultures.

At 7 p.m., Havana NRG will take the Performance Lawn stage as part of the Kaleidoscope Live concert series, bringing Latin rhythms and live music to the evening celebration.

“This festival is an opportunity to learn, connect and celebrate the diversity that enriches our region,” says Shawn Jackson, executive director of the Kaleidoscope Park Foundation.

Kaleidoscope Park is a nonprofit public park and cultural destination offering free year-round programming, public art, gardens and family spaces.
