The Sierra Club is inviting outdoor enthusiasts to welcome fall with a lineup of guided adventures beginning in early October, offering opportunities to hike, paddle, explore natural landscapes and participate in conservation activities.

Closer to home, the Canoeing the Scenic Rio Grande River and Hiking in Big Bend National Park outing, October 3 through 8, combines paddling along the Rio Grande with hiking amid the dramatic desert landscapes of West Texas.Other fall excursions include a Service Among Cliff Dwelling strip in New Mexico’s Gila Wilderness, October 4 through 10, combining outdoor exploration with volunteer service, and fall hiking adventures in Vermont and New York’s Adirondack Mountains.
