State of Diabetes Summit

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) will bring together North Texas business leaders, healthcare professionals and community advocates for its annual State of Diabetes: Dallas summit on November 13 at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum.

This year's discussion, "Diabetes in the Workplace: Supporting Employees & Reducing Costs," will explore practical approaches to diabetes prevention and management, employee wellness and reducing healthcare expenses.

Panelists will examine emerging treatments, including GLP-1 medications, preventive care strategies and health data identifying diabetes prevalence and resource gaps across North Texas.

Attendees will also receive an updated ADA digital toolkit featuring educational materials, workplace wellness resources and customizable initiatives to help employers support healthier employees.

The summit offers an opportunity for healthcare professionals, employers and community leaders to collaborate on solutions that improve quality of life while addressing the growing health and economic impacts of diabetes.

The event takes place from 8 to 10:30 a.m. November 13, with check-in beginning at 7:30 a.m., at 300 N. Houston St., Dallas.
