Fort Worth's Parade of Lights Celebrates 44 Years of Community Tradition

For more than four decades, the GM Financial Parade of Lights has brought North Texas families together to celebrate the holiday season, transforming downtown Fort Worth into a glowing display of community spirit and shared traditions.

Returning November 22 for its 44th year, Texas' largest illuminated holiday parade embraces the theme "A Legacy of Lights," honoring generations of families who have made the celebration part of their holiday traditions.

More than 100 illuminated floats, marching bands, decorated antique automobiles, horse-drawn carriages and carolers will travel the 1.59-mile downtown route. Santa and Mrs. Claus will conclude the festivities aboard their illuminated float.

Kyle Birch, president of North American Operations for GM Financial, will serve as grand marshal in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the Fort Worth community.

Produced by Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives Inc., the parade remains free and open to the public, with reserved seating available for purchase.

The parade begins at 6 p.m. November 22.
