Sustainability Summit in Mesquite


Eastfield College, one of the seven colleges of the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) is holding the ninth annual Sustainability Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., November 8. The theme is Sustainability as a Social Justice Practice: Developing Resilient Strategies. A variety of educational sessions will be offered for attendees in five focus areas to explore the central theme in more depth: Social Equity; Teaching Sustainability (K-16); Institutionalizing Sustainability; Resource & Energy Efficiency; and Facilities Management.
