Let DART Do the Driving

With Texas pride as this year’s theme, the 2014 Texas State Fair North, now running through October 19, is accessible via the longest light rail system in North America. Fair-goers will enjoy American Idol auditions, Texas sports legends, soccer history displays, top entertainers, football, Big Tex, a Cotton Bowl music fest and award-winning fried foods.

The DART Green Line connects to two stations: Fair Park, at the entrance to the fairgrounds, and MLK, Jr., convenient to the Cotton Bowl. Extra Green Line trains will be available approximately every 15 minutes between Victory and Lawnview stations from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays and 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. weekends. All DART Rail and Trinity Railway Express (TRE) passengers can transfer easily to the Green Line. Trains going to the fair will say Fair Park, Buckner or Lawnview.
