Holistic Festival of Life is Back

North Texas’ Holistic Festival of Life, hosted by Mystic Mandala is back for the 2016 winter Festival on December 11, at the Plano Convention Center. Showcasing alternative and integrative therapies, holistic practitioners and environmentally friendly businesses and organizations, the Holistic Festival of life has grown to be a dependable place to learn, sample and become exposed to a wide variety of health and wellness products and service and practitioners all in one place. Organizers say they have worked hard to make sure this is a fun, festival-like atmosphere that the whole family can enjoy. Festival doors open at 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.

According to Vijay Warman, founder of Mystic Mandala, a holistic center in Plano, there is no other event in the area that brings together this unique combination of integrative and holistic health vendors, speakers and breakout sessions, along with art goods, music, dance and other entertainment where at the same time attendees are able to sample and experience everything from aromatherapy to visit with the owners of a natural food grocery store and get advice from experts about cutting their energy bill in half by installing solar panels. “We are excited to show people the wide variety of businesses and services that are available in the community for better well-being , healthy living and sustainable lifestyles,” states Warman – in a fun, festival type of environment.

More than 400 vendors have participated in the festival, including independent practitioners specializing in wellness practices such as yoga, meditation, massage therapy, herbal nutrition, naturopath, acupuncture and chiropractic along with experts versed in the arts of feng shui, vastushastra (an ancient science of architecture) and intuitive guidance.“ DFW has opened their arms widely to this event,” says Jennifer Rae, one of the festival directors. “People seem to have been starving for a more conscious-minded and wellness-oriented community event such as this.”

Admission and parking is free. For more information or to participate in the festival as a vendor, contact Jennifer Rae at 469-401-4777 or visit HolisticFestivalOfLife.com.
