Michael Kenny is a masters level Board Certified Music Therapist, yoga teacher, massage therapist, drum circle facilitator, educator, performer, and workshop leader who uses music in therapy, healing, teaching and personal evolution.

Michael has over 25 years of experience working with people of all ages suffering from disabilities ranging from autism to psychiatric disorders, addressing mental, physical, emotional, and social domains. Michael also works with healthy adults and children in a variety of settings from educational to personal development. His background also includes advanced training in Neurologic Music Therapy, certification as a HealthRhythms® Facilitator and TaKeTiNa teacher, Village Music Circle Provider, 10 years as president of the non-profit Drums Not Guns (501c3), and founder and president of Creative Arts for Social Action (501c3).

Michael has presented at regional and national professional conferences on his methods and techniques, and continues to volunteer for many community events.

Michael created and offers training in a multi-modal leadership training program, "Community Ambassador Leadership Training". This program grew out of the "Empathy Ambassador Leadership Training" which he developed for World Without Hate.
