Strength, balance and flexibility becomes more important as we age - begin here for senior fitness and fun
Lynne Patterson, Senior Personal Trainer offers personalized fitness training in this on-going class for seniors. Taught in a circuit format, enjoy a group warmup, then move to different ‘fitness stations’ to use props such as chairs, balls, stretchy bands and light weights to improve flexibility, mobility, and balance. Most exercises can be done seated or standing to support the activities of daily life. To prevent falls and maintain independence, start here. Have fun working at your own pace, and negotiating your own level of challenge.
Wednesdays from 1 – 2 pm, and 2pm - 3pm. Fridays from 1:30 – 2:30 PM.
First class is free! Drop In Classes are $20 each. Use the Westside Wellness punch card for $2 discount per session.
Wear comfortable, non-restrictive exercise clothes and supportive shoes.
