Bexar Audubon Society Monthly Meeting: Little (studied) Kite on the Prairie: Investigating the Ecology of Mississippi Kites
In the last 70 years, Mississippi Kites have become one of the most abundant raptors in cities and towns throughout the Great Plains. Despite their ubiquity and abundance, much of their life history and ecology awaits discovery. In this presentation, Dr. Ben Skipper of Angelo State University will discuss his past and current research that is aimed at shedding light on this little studied raptor. Bexar Audubon Society is a Texan by Nature Conservation Partner.
