Summer at the Arboretum, to be held June 3 to August 6, features uplifting sculptures by Gary Lee Price, live music and performances, and Family Fun Fridays in the 66-acre Dallas garden. Additional events include Pride in Bloom (June 10-11), Father’s Day and Juneteenth (June 17-19), Independence Weekend (July 1-4) and a Quilt Exhibition in the DeGolyer House (June 1-Aug. 6). The horticulture staff have planted more than 65,000 new plantings in June with 300 tropical elephant ears and 500 cannas creating the Arboretum’s signature summer look.
