Dr. Castoe studies genome biology and population genetics. His studies often focus on reptiles and one of his areas of expertise is venomous snakes. His presentation will briefly highlight research in his lab as well as provide an overview of the reptiles we can find here at Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center. He will be joined by two of his graduate students: Justin Bernstein, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Yannick Francioli, PhD Student. Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center is a Texan by Nature Conservation Partner.
