IT CAME FROM TEXAS Film Festival Sept. 12-14 in Garland

The third annual IT CAME FROM TEXAS Film Festival, taking place at the Plaza Theatre in Garland, located at 521 W. State St., showcases a weekend theme of True Texas Tales. The festival kicks off on Friday, September 12, and continues through Sunday, September 14. As with the last two years’ editions of this fest, IT CAME FROM TEXAS is sponsored by the city of Garland and Garland Cultural Arts.
All-access festival passes are currently on sale for $75, offering access to the entire weekend of films and events at the Plaza Theatre, as well as discounts around the square. Tickets for individual films are available.
Showcased are four award-winning films: BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967), BERNIE (2011), THE GREAT DEBATERS (2007) and THE ALAMO (1960).
