Not all communities in Dallas breathe clean air. West Dallas and Joppa have been plagued with environmental injustices for decades. Local Dallas documentary film makers Jake Hochendoner and Jonathan Johnson have followed two campaigns led by Downwinders at Risk and resident organizations in both communities, to combat those injustices since 2020. "TOXIC TWINS" weaves together the legacy of environmental racism in Dallas, how it persists today and how communities are fighting back.
