Heng is a board-certified family medicine and holistic medicine doctor, also trained in integrative and functional medicine. She completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship with Andrew Weil, M.D. at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine in 2008. And has pursued additional training in mind-body medicine, hypnotherapy, nutrition, functional medicine, stress management and hormonal health.

She can recommend natural supplements and complementary therapies such as acupuncture, manual medicine therapy on-site, bio/neurofeedback, healing touch and hypnosis. She may also recommend medications and/or surgery, only using the advances of conventional medicine when necessary.

Heng was hired by Integrative Medical Group and Addison Pain Management owner Johnny East, a doctor of osteopathic medicine who is also passionate about holistic healing.
