Susan G. Komen will bring three signature fundraising events to North Texas in October, offering opportunities to walk, run, volunteer and support people affected by breast cancer.

The Greater Fort Worth MORE THAN PINK Walk takes place October 3 at The Shops at Clearfork, 5188 Monahans Ave., in Fort Worth. The event site opens at 7 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 8:15 a.m. and the walk at 8:30 a.m.

The Dallas North Texas Race for the Cure follows October 17 at The University of Texas at Dallas, 800 W. Campbell Rd., in Richardson. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m., with the opening ceremony at 8:30 a.m., runners starting at 9 a.m. and walkers at 9:15 a.m. Participants may choose a certified 5K or one-mile route.

The Dallas/Fort Worth Susan G. Komen 3-Day takes place October 23 through 25. Participants may choose 20-, 40- or 60-mile options while raising funds to support breast cancer research, patient care and other Komen programs.
