Chefs For Farmers Connects Farm, Table and Community
The Chefs For Farmers Food + Wine Festival returns to Dallas November 6 through 8, bringing together Texas chefs, local farmers, food artisans and culinary enthusiasts for a celebration of locally sourced food and the people who produce it.
The festival pairs participating chefs and restaurants with local farms, encouraging the use of farm-grown ingredients while directing festival dollars back into the local agricultural community.
The signature Main Event takes place from 3 to 6 p.m., November 7 and 8, at Old City Park, 1515 S. Harwood St., in Dallas. VIP admission begins at 2 p.m. both days. Guests can sample dishes and beverages from participating chefs and producers while enjoying live entertainment, culinary experiences and opportunities to learn more about the farms behind the food.
This year’s nonprofit beneficiary is The Seed Project Foundation, which supports agricultural education, sustainability and community initiatives. A portion of general admission ticket proceeds benefits the organization.
