EllaDx Launches Women’s Lab-Testing Platform
Dallas-based EllaDx has launched a national direct-to-consumer laboratory testing platform designed around women’s symptoms and changing health needs. The service provides access to more than 180 laboratory markers without insurance or a prior referral.
Founded by Ali and Arsenio Aaron, EllaDx aims to give women objective health information they can discuss with medical providers.
Users can take a three-minute symptom questionnaire or select from 10 panels covering hormones, thyroid and fertility; cardiovascular and metabolic health; inflammation; micronutrients; heavy metals; bone health; and other concerns. Custom panels are also available.
Blood draws are completed at more than 2,250 Quest Diagnostics locations. At-home draws are available for prepared panels in eligible ZIP codes. Most results arrive through a secure portal in about five days and include standard reference ranges and plain-language educational information.
Panels begin at $79 and are HSA- and FSA-eligible. In supported states, a licensed physician reviews and signs each laboratory order. EllaDx does not interpret results, diagnose conditions or replace professional medical care.
